Driving Test
Show Me Questions

Show me Questions

The "Show me" questions are questions that an examiner will ask you to do whilst driving the car during your test.

They will only ask you one of seven questions, and you must perform the said question without losing control of the vehicle.

Losing control of the vehicle will result in a serious or potentially dangerous fault being recorded and the test result being a fail.

Show me questions are carried out whilst on the move. You must show that you can carry out the request without losing control of the vehicle.
You must not veer left and hit the kerb, or veer right into the oncoming traffic.
You should also not increase speed or reduce speed, so just keep a steady pace.

The clue is to wait until it is “SAFE TO DO SO” do not try carrying these out whilst you are going around corners, wait until you are driving in a straight line,
it will make your control of the vehicle much safer.
