Responsible for
your actions

From a young age you are taught how actions have consequences.

Driving is no different.
You train hard and pay hard to take driving lessons, and with all the will in the world, whoever taught you has the intention to make you the best and safest driver they can.

You take all this information on board, pass the theory test and then crack on to pass the driving test.

A driving licence is not a privilege!
It comes with a huge set of rules and if you break them there are consequences.

After a few months of driving, ask yourself this really simple question.

WOULD I PASS MY DRIVING TEST TODAY DRIVING HOW I AM?

If the answer is NO, then you need to address the things that you are doing that would not allow you to pass.

Any of these items listed below, would not allow you to pass a driving test or would cause you to get points on your licence which inevitably would end up with you losing it. This list is not exhaustive and could go on for ages.

Just think about your actions well before doing them.
Your actions could kill someone.....Could you live with that?
And if not kill someone..... you could kill yourself.

Drink driving.
Drug driving.
Driving tired.
Driving in a bad frame of mind.
Driving without insurance, Road tax or a valid MOT.
Driving in excess of the maximum speed limit.
Driving using a mobile phone.
Driving whilst eating.
Driving whilst having a drink.
Driving with unsuitable footwear.
Driving with a defective vehicle.
Driving in a unsafe manner.
Having road rage.
Driving when you don't meet the minimum required visual distance to hold a licence.
Driving without a valid licence.
Driving whilst distracted, either from what you are doing or from what someone else is doing.

For a learner who has just passed their driving test, the rules are even tighter.
Should a new driver get 6 or more points in the first 2 years of driving they will have their licence revoked and will have to take both the theory and practical test again.
