In 1 hour we will have a good idea of your level of experience and ability and will be able to guide you based on our experience where improvements need to be made to get you to a standard for safe driving for life and to a level required to pass a DVSA driving test.
During this hour we will endeavour to get you on various different types of road, and get you to carry out all the required DVSA manoeuvres.

It doesn't matter whether you know all the manoeuvres or not, or whether you are any good at them, this is by all accounts just an assessment of your knowledge, skill and current abilities.
This also applies to whether you have driven on all different types of road. Some learners may have been with a driving school that never covered country roads, dual carriageways or motorways. You may also have never driven in different weather conditions or at different times of day, especially at night, and this is fine. We want to assess you, find out what experience you have previously had, and work with you to make you a better driver of fill in the gaps in your previous learning or build on your current skills or weaker areas that you might not be as confident with.

At the end of the hour we will give you an honest feedback of any areas we feel you could benefit from by gaining additional experience and come up with a plan of action as to how we can achieve this for you.

There is no judgement with these assessment sessions, they are purely for us to see where you are at, whether we can help you in weaker areas, help you build your skills and confidence to become the best driver you can be, but most importantly be honest with you from our professional opinion, so that you can set yourself some targets moving forward.
